Copy of Exodus 14:13,14
My view from "The Chair" this morning - Exodus 14:13, 14. Over and over in the Bible God says, "Do Not Fear!" In fact, there are over 300 verses to that effect. God is very clear about His request that we do not make friends with "fear". Fear is one of Satan's best entry-level schemes. He fuels this scheme with the "What-if" game; Overthinking one's own capabilities; Unrealistic high expectations of one's self; and self-criticism. In fact, "fear" grows rather plump on these things which then explode into anxiety; depression; and paralysis. If you look at where all these things reside, you will notice they are birthed in your thoughts. Fear is derived from your thoughts. What is the best way to protect yourself from fear? Guarding your thoughts by keeping them focused on the Word. I have several spiral 3" by 5" notebooks that I record scripture in and then carry it with me as I am learning it by heart. Will you join me in putting His truth in your mind to protect your heart? I would love to hear how scripture is speaking to you. Please feel free to leave me a comment. Until We Chat Again, Crystal
