Psalm 119:18

My view from "The Chair" this morning - Psalm 119:18.  We all want timeless truth.  Are you like me?  I often enjoy many quotes and sayings that I come across and some of them are completely true.  Others of them, when I really dig into their meaning, are what I call "Coffee Table Theology".  In other words, they sound good, but they are not true.  If you want lasting truth, ask God to open your eyes as you read His words in the Bible.  Daily, I ask Him to make His words come alive and jump off the page at me.  Funny thing is, I can read something  in "The Word" that I've read multiple times before and suddenly I see it and understand it.  If you are having difficulty understanding scripture, ask Him to "Open your eyes to see and deeply understand."  Would you consider sharing a new truth that has recently come alive from scripture in the comments below?
