Hebrews 13:7

My view from "The Chair" this morning.  Hebrews 13:7 nlt. Who is it that spiritually helps you grow?  Who is it that when you look at their life, it provides additional guidance and demonstrates a life based on the Word?  Who is it that provides an example for you to follow?   When I remember who God has put in front of me to follow in their footsteps, I am grateful for their leadership.  Who is it for you?  Today will you join me in thanking them?  How about sending them a text or a handwritten note?

Proverbs 16:24

My view from "The Chair" this morning. Proverbs 16:24. Our tongue is one of the most powerful tools God gave us. Not only do we get to enjoy the taste of good things, but we have the ability to use our words to inflate those that are exhausted or discouraged. Today, who can you use your words on to encourage.

I Timothy 6:8

My view from "The Chair" this morning - I Timothy 6:6-8.My view from "The Chair" this morning - I Timothy 6:6-8.  Oh my sweet friend, how I long to "REMEMBER" this.  Truly, it all goes back in the box, just like when we play board games and they come to an end.  Everything goes back in the box.  I want to be a good steward of what He has entrusted me.  I want to use every ounce of it for His purposes.  I don't want to get to the end and be standing there looking at the sign that says, "No baggage allowed".  Let's live generously because He is a generous God who owns it all.  Generosity = Contentment.  I give you permission to start small.  Maybe it is leaving a quarter on a gumball machine for some kiddo to find.  Maybe it is buying groceries for a single struggling mom.  I don't know what He will ask you to do, but I do know that if you do it, you will be filled with His uncontainable joy and contentment.  After all, He gave us the most expensive and lavished gift He had, His son to pay the price for our wrong doings.  I would love to hear your story or see a picture of your generosity.  Please just add it in the comments.

Isaiah 46:3,4

My view from "The Chair" this morning - Isaiah 46:3,4.  Wowzee!  Doesn't get much clearer than this.  YOU and I are His creations.  We have been thoughtfully tended to and loved by the Creator of the Universe.  He can be trusted to take care of us on this wild, crazy, wonderful, messy, and sometimes rollercoaster of an adventure we call "Life".  He has an untangled view.  Today, will you sing with me the anthem,  "It is Well With My Soul"?  I would love for someone to video themselves singing it and attach it to this.  Do you have another song that declares these truths?  Would you share it with us in the comments?

Isaiah 49:16

My view from "The Chair" this morning - Isaiah 49:16.  He not only has your name on His hand, He has all the other endearing names He calls you written there as well.  Maybe today you should write these names on your hand and look at them as reminders of just who you are to Him and how He thinks about you.  If you do, please post a picture in the comment section.  It would encourage all of us.

Psalm 90:12

My view from "The Chair" this morning.  Psalm 90:12.  Want to be wise?  Hold onto the fact that "this" life is super short compared to eternity and we are sojourners passing through. Each day we are given breath and the gift of another day to be His hands and feet to those we meet.  May we realize the opportunities we have to love those He places in front of us today.

Ecclesiastes 11:5

My view from "The Chair" this morning.  Ecclesiastes 11:5.  Sometimes I wonder why I continue to strive to "understand" God's activity.  His ways are not ours or even understandable by our finite human mind.

Psalm 90:12

My view from "The Chair" this morning. Proverbs 16:24. Our tongue is one of the most powerful tools God gave us. Isaiah 55:8

My view from "The Chair" this morning. Isaiah 55:8. I'm so grateful His thoughts are always clear and consistent towards me. I'm also delighted that His ways are outside of my realm of understanding, even though sometimes I think I want to know what they are- lol! Anyone else ever feel that way?

Colossians 2:7

My view from "The Chair" this morning.Colossians 2:7. Want to grow and be strong enough to withstand whatever storms you encounter, then fertilize your roots with His Words; time with Him; worship; and prayer. All this will bring you peace and contentment.

Psalm 139:1-5

My view from "The Chair" this morning! Psalm 139:1-5. Our Creator can be trusted. His view is completely untangled. Just whisper to Him that you trust His timing and plan for your life. Do not fear, He sees you and He's got you!

Psalm 139:17,18

My view from "The Chair" this morning. Psalm 139:17,18. Do you ever wonder if God thinks about you? Well, you don't ever have to wonder again. His thoughts about each of us are so precious and numerous we can't even start to fathom them. Wowzee! My heart is inflating as I savor this truth. Drink it deep into your soul.

Isaiah 43:1

My view from "The Chair" this morning. Isaiah 43:1. Who's ransomed you and called you by name? Only the one who made you and knows your name would be willing to buy you with the price of His son's life. I will be forever eternally grateful! How about you?

2 Corinthians 3:4-6

My view from "The Chair" this morning 2 Corinthians 3:4-6. When you say "Yes" to the adventures God has asked you to join Him in; you quickly discover how completely under qualified you are in and of yourself. When you realize this and slip your hand into His knowing that you've got nothing; you become the most usable vessel for His purposes.

Psalm 92:4

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Psalm 92:4). When I take a moment to "Remember" all the miraculous ways God has spared my life, I'm overwhelmed with gratefulness and joy. Today, don't forget to "Remember." Maybe you'll even find that joy tumbling out of your mouth as a song.

Romans 12:2

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Romans 12:2). Wowzee! Here is what is proven, what we focus on is what we move toward. This is scientifically proven. God agrees! So, He tells us to focus on Him and His Word, then we will be transformed.

Proverbs 2:7

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Proverbs 2:7). Honesty = the gift of common sense. Who couldn't use a little more common sense?
