My View From "The Chair" this morning - John 8:4-7.  I LOVE this rock!  Maybe it's because I really think I could be a mermaid or maybe it's because it was a gift from a wonderful friend.  It's probably both.  However, this rock sits on my desk as a visual reminder that I don't get to be the judge of others.  I don't get to use the rocks of my words to condemn or accuse others.  I don't get to throw rocks (literally or verbally).  What I do get to do is put down my rocks of judgement and love the people in front of me.  Seems so simple, yet I find it much harder than it sounds. Anybody else struggle with this?  When I am struggling with rock throwing, I remind myself that I am not without sin and probably should be the one being stoned.  Instead, I have been bathed in His scandalous grace ; completely forgiven of all my wrongs; and He sees me as pure and spotless.  If you are struggling with rock throwing today, maybe you need to look at who is sitting on the throne of your life?  Trust me, He is not a rock thrower.  Today will you allow the rocks to drop from your hands so that He can bathe you in His forgiveness, grace, and love?  Until We Chat Again, Crystal - The Plank-Eyed Girl
